Erika Mendez, DDS, is an experienced cosmetic and family dentist at Skyview Dental in Irving, Texas. Dr. Mendez became interested in dentistry because she wanted to have the ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Dr. Mendez received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at the Houston School of Dentistry, where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Mendez takes a gentle and compassionate approach when treating her patients and strives to provide the highest standard of dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Erika Mendez looks forward to building a lifelong relationship with each and every one of her patients.
She loves to learn and appreciates continuing education. She is often taking in-person and online courses to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in dental technology and updated forms of treatment that will benefit her patients. Dr. Mendez is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, Mommy Dentists in Business, and North Texas Dental Society.
When she is not working, Dr. Mendez enjoys spending time with her husband, Pedro, their two daughters, Emma and Isabella, and their Weimaraner dog, Ghost. Dr. Mendez is fluent in Spanish, loves to travel, and likes to stay active by running races and working out.
